Red Nose Day 2024

We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our recent fundraising event in support of Comic Relief. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our Charities Committee, along with the enthusiastic participation of both students and staff, we have managed to raise an impressive ยฃ375.43.

The day was filled with exciting activities and initiatives, all aimed at raising funds for this important cause. From the thrilling game of ‘Hit the Red’, where participants took aim and tried their luck at hitting the target to win some Easter goodies -adding an element of fun to the fundraising efforts- to the delightful ‘Ping Pong Prizes’, and not to forget the vibrant display of ‘Wear Red for Comic Relief’, every event added to the vibrancy and spirit of the day. The Sixth Form was a sea of vibrant red as students and staff proudly donned the color in solidarity with Comic Relief’s mission to tackle poverty and injustice.

One of the highlights of the day was the much-anticipated quiz masterfully conducted by Mr. Wimpenny. Students and staff alike engaged in friendly competition while testing their knowledge for a good cause.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Student Charities Committee for their hard work, dedication, and creativity in organising such a successful event. Additionally, we also want to express our gratitude to all the staff and students who participated, donated, and supported the event in any way. Their enthusiasm and generosity have made a significant difference in the lives of those in need.

It is heartwarming to witness our school community coming together to make a positive impact on the lives of others. The funds raised will undoubtedly contribute towards Comic Relief’s vital work in supporting vulnerable communities both locally and globally.
