If you are in Year 11 in one of the schools listed above, you will be visited by our Student Recruitment Team during Year 10/11 who will share information about the range of courses that we offer and how to apply to us. If you have missed these sessions, but would like to apply, do so here. We will follow up the session with a personalised tour and interview at Durham Sixth Form Centre, where you will have the chance to meet our staff and get a feel for the Centre.

Are you in Year 9 or 10 in one of our 11-16 partner schools?

Our Student Recruitment Team attend the majority of parents’ evenings and Careers Information, Advice and Guidance events in our partner schools. We also offer students the opportunity to visit us in the summer term of Year 10 to sample lessons and find out more about options available during our Year 10 Taster Days.

Are you not in one of our 11-16 partner schools but would still like to study at Durham Sixth Form Centre?

If you do not attend one of our partner schools, but are interested in joining us, we would be delighted to hear from you. Are you in an 11-19 school?

If you are in an 11-19 school, remember that you have a choice of where you study post-16. Each year, a large number of students join us at Durham Sixth Form Centre from schools, which have their own Sixth Forms. For some, it is the great location, for others – it’s the excellent results, fantastic range of courses, the change from school and the adult atmosphere. If you would like to study at Durham Sixth Form Centre, we would be delighted to hear from you. Apply to us here and we will invite you to attend a personalised transition tour and interview with us at Durham Sixth Form Centre, where you will have the opportunity to meet our staff and get a feel for the Centre.
