Please read the selection criteria below carefully before choosing your sessions. You must select a choice in every single dropdown block.
📋 Choose Your Pathway
Depending on your course application, please follow the specific selection rules for your pathway:
- Standard Pathway: Choose 4 different subjects along with one Enrichment & PD Session.
- Football Academy Pathway (Boys & Girls): Only for students already accepted into the Football Academy. Choose 3 subjects, one Enrichment & PD Session, and select Football Academy for Block 5.
💡 What is the Enrichment & PD Session? This is a mandatory session for all students. It includes a presentation covering our CORE programme, progression, wider opportunities and a live Q&A session with current Durham Sixth Form Centre students.
⚠️ Critical Booking Rules & Notes
- Subject Variety: All standard pathway students must attend 4 different subjects to help you make the right choices at enrolment in September.
- BTEC Extended Sport Students: If you are choosing Sport (BTEC ED), you must select this in Block 2 and choose your Enrichment & PD session in Block 1. You must also wear sports clothing on the day, as your activities will be practical.
- Subjects Do Not Appear in Every Block: If you cannot find a subject in a specific block, it is likely because that session is full or may not be in that block. Please take a look at the schedule below to see which subjects appear in which block.
