Durham Sixth Form Centre student Lewis Langstaff – Wood has gained remarkable recognition in the world of photography after capturing some of the most high-profile Royal events in the country.
Lewis, a talented Year 12 Photography student, has already built an impressive portfolio specialising in Royal and event photography. Despite being at the early stages of his career, his work has attracted both national and international attention, with images appearing in several leading publications.
Among the distinguished figures Lewis has photographed are Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla at major occasions including the Easter Sunday Service at Windsor, the Braemar Gathering and Trooping the Colour. More recently, he photographed Prince William during an official Royal visit to North Yorkshire.
His photography has been featured in respected titles such as The Telegraph, The Times, HELLO! Magazine and Majesty Magazine, the internationally distributed Royal publication which has enjoyed more than 45 years of global readership.
In another significant milestone, Lewis has received the prestigious invitation to photograph the State Opening of Parliament at Buckingham Palace. An exceptional achievement for a student photographer and a testament to his growing reputation within the industry.
The results of this latest opportunity are expected to be revealed in the coming days, adding to an already impressive body of work that continues to attract widespread praise.
