Choosing to complete my PGCE on the enhanced mentoring pathway at DSFC was the best decision I could have made. Being on-site full time has provided me an insight not only into the role of a teacher in a classroom setting but also into the roles and responsibilities of a teacher around the Sixth Form as a whole, an experience I don’t think I’d have had if I’d not followed this pathway.
