Golf Academy Awards Success

AoC Intercollegiate Tour National Finals

The National Finals at Mottram Hall GC Macclesfield, saw DSFC qualify with three teams. Teams A and B were chasing the scratch title and the ‘C Team’ the nett competition. The best 71 students from schools and colleges across the UK competed in a 54 hole competition. The golf course proved to be an excellent challenge for these young stars of the future and we were victorious adding a number of trophies to our ever expanding hall. 

The ‘A Team (Roan Smith, Evan Oliver, Jessica Dorritt, Ben Mawson) finished runners up in the scratch competition four shots behind winners Essex Golf College with the ‘B team 11th and the ‘C Team’ 15th.

The ‘C Team’ (Kayla Hall, Jonny Noble, Lily Davis, Lisa Bryson) were crowned winners of the nett team trophy with ‘A Team finishing runners up and ‘B Team (Josh White, Matthew Bennett, William Megginson, Jack Crampton) 5th.

Congratulations to Jessica Dorritt (National Girls Champion) and Lisa Bryson (National Girls Nett Champion).

The squad are looking forward to a well earned rest before the North of England Championships at the end of the month.
